Writing Squad writers Katherine Horrex and Lydia Marchant together with Project H writer Astrid and I, all wrote pieces inspired by archive footage of the great aviator and pioneer Amy Johnson, for the Hull based festival celebrating her life in 2016.

We then gave them to sound artist Karen Lauke who made them into sound flights that you can listen to the here.  The site also has background to the projects and links to some of the original footage that inspired us. We also distributed decals with different aircraft registrations, designs and QR codes linking directly to the individual pieces around the city during the festival.
